Retired Lecturer, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
Born in 1966 in Emirdağ, Afyonkarahisar. He graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ankara University, in 1988. Following his graduation, he gained experience working in a private veterinary practice. He subsequently served as a Veterinary Surgeon at the Hakkari and Ankara Provincial Directorates of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry between 1991 and 1994.
Between 1994 and 2012, he held positions as a Veterinary Surgeon, Head of Laboratory and Rabies Reference Specialist at the Rabies Diagnosis and Vaccine Production Laboratories of the Etlik Veterinary Control Centre Research Institute. During his time there, he completed the Ministry’s Specialist Training Programme and was awarded the title of Specialist Veterinary Surgeon.
Between 1996 and 2001, he completed his PhD in the Department of Veterinary Virology at the Institute of Health Sciences, Ankara University.
In 2011, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor by the Inter-University Council.
Between 2012 and 2022, he held positions as Associate Professor and Professor at Harran and Aksaray Universities. During his time at the university, he served as Head of Department, Head of Faculty, Director of the College, Dean, and as a member of the Senate.
He is married with two children and retired in 2022.
